A little lot of everything

Inspired by one of my nightly Jeopardy viewings, I created this section to showcase work that doesn’t fit anywhere else. Between consulting, agency work, and favors for friends and family, I’ve got lots of fun projects to share.

Baby on track

Oula is a healthcare startup focused on modernizing the maternity journey. In addition to their innovative Brooklyn clinic, they’re also using technology to provide remote care and build a strong community of expectant mothers.

I was drawn to their meaningful mission, innovative product, and elegant brand. We worked together to create these aspirational prototypes that provide a vision for what their platform could become.

Flower power

While designing this logo for my friend who’s a singer and songwriter, I was inspired by the illustration style of my fellow Cincinnatian Charley Harper.

To capture his modern hippie style, I created this geometric dandelion, and then abstracted it even further for an instagram-ready monogram.

Letters on the loose

I would never call my self an illustrator, but I did have fun faking it with this project for Security Scorecard. The idea was to personify the different “grades” that their algorithm would use to rate the security level of your platforms. So while “A” played the confident hero, “F” was the scheming villain. And clearly “C” just couldn’t be bothered…

They’re not going to win any awards, but it was a fun exercise in conveying a sense of character using only the bare minimum of elements.

Free love, free work

This project was one of many I did in college for free. The student theatre community at Northwestern is one of the strongest in the world, with hundreds of student-produced shows a year, all needing marketing, of course.

I still get compliments on this design I did for a production of Hair (that I also photographed and performed in, of course). It was one of the first projects I was really proud of and I’m touched it still resonates with people to this day.

Thanks for taking the time to explore my portfolio. Please reach out if you’d like to talk about design, healthcare, or anything else for that matter!
